Duff Goldman is took over Chef Tin Vuong’s Kitchen during Abigaile’s Kitchen (1301 Manhattan Ave., Hermosa Beach, 90254) Takeover IV last night. It was the 4th installment of Abigaile’s monthly “Kitchen Takeover” series, and the focusing was on desserts and cocktails. Duff Goldman, star of Food Network’s “Ace of Cakes,” Owner of Charm City Cakes and Duff’s Cakemix was there baking desserts, hanging out and enjoying the night.
Duff’s desserts please the masses. With beautiful desserts like Balitmore-style Yuzu Sno-Cone and a Chocolate Thing (my personal favorite), everyone was happy and full. We also feasted on dishes from Abigaile like fried olives, crab mac ‘n’ cheese, salt n pepper prawns, and shrimp toast.
