On the Thirty, (14622 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks) is a sophisticated take on the modern sports bar, with co-owner and chef Justin Urich in the kitchen. He is preparing a menu of seasonal salads, sandwiches and pizzas (from $7 – 40/plate) meant to pair with the restaurant’s extensive craft beer and wine list. Munch on Gruyere fondue sliders; Caramelized onion puree; and truffle and wild mushroom pizza.
They also have thirty wines by the glass and they use a technology that keeps each bottle fresh for 60 days. So, they will be pouring California’s finest varietals. And guess what?
