LYFE Kitchen

I have found my go to “fast-food” spot. If you haven’t gotten yourself to LYFE Kitchen, read my previous post and get over to eat some delicious, healthy offerings. The Executive Chef, Jeremy Bringardner, is passionate and knowledgeable about making healthy food delicious. We stuck with mainly gluten-free and vegan options. They were all out of this world.

We chowed down on the roasted artichoke starter and it was the best roasted artichoke I have ever had. It was smokey, and not greasy like a lot of roasted artichokes in this city. Plus, the vegan dip it came with was amazing. Another favorite was the vegan, gluten-free pizza. I have never head vegan, gluten-free pizza before, but I was so intrigued. Instead of cheese, Jeremy uses tofu ricotta, white sauce. It’s savory, creamy and tasted even better than cheese. It was one of the best pizzas I have had. Art’s Unfried Chicken was great too and the Brussels sprouts and squash it comes complemented it perfectly. For dessert, do not miss the  ChoColaTe Budino with pomegranate-soaked chia seeds and slivered almonds. The chocolate and pomegranate dessert is the perfect size to end your meal on a sweet note. The apple and quinoa crisp is also a satisfying treat for any non-chocolate lovers out there.

Overall, LYFE Kitchen is a great spot to get a healthy meal. Plus, the ambiance is so welcoming with comfy, sofas and different gathering nooks. It is easily a place I can bring a good book and have a meal to myself, or meet a few friends and chat for hours. It’s relaxed, inviting and will keep you on track with your health!
