L&E Oyster Bar‘s (1637 Silver Lake Blvd., Los Angeles, 90026) annexed second floor bar/lounge plus patio is going to be the hot spot and it’s officially open. Head up the red steps for a seafood focused experience includes beet-cured King Salmon with Meyer lemon creme fraiche; house-cured mojama, olive oil and smoked paprika; John Dory and diver scallop terrine with Steelhead Salmon roe and, of course, oysters.
Hours of operation upstairs have expanded by an hour and run Monday-Thursday from 5 to 11 pm and Friday & Saturday from 5 pm-1 am.
