The Morrison (3179 Los Feliz Blvd., Atwater Village, 90039; 323.667.1839) is by the Stout crew and it’s their take on a Scottish gastropub. The minimalist Atwater Village pub has decor of wall-mounted crests and dishes include interpretations of classic Highland dishes including Cod & Chips; Soft Scotch Egg with Venison Sausage and Horseradish Mustard; Rarebit Sandwich with Tavern Ham, Cheddar, Fried Egg and Pumpernickel; and a Brisket Meat Pie.
Drinks are more international, with options like the Applewood with bourbon, smoked apple juice, and chocolate yerba mate and the Catherine Barkley with Brugal white rum, fresh lime juice and spice syrup. Plus, there’s a full bar with 40+ craft brews.
