Aventine

Aventine (1607 N Cahuenga Blvd., Los Angeles, 90028; 323.466.1400) is a striking Hollywood spot with a beautiful olive-tree-filled patio and it’s soft-opening Monday (grand-opening Thursday). Inside, you’ll find a marble bar, old maps and tabletops that are from an old bocce court. Either way, inside or out, you can order up gnocchi and short rib agnolotti while you drink Negroni Rossos (They put rock candy on the rim). Check out the menu here.

You will notice, hints of Italy with wrought iron and pizzas from a wood-burning oven. There is a little bit of San Francisco (the original location is there) and a little bit of Hollywood atmosphere. I mean it lives in the heart of it.
