Berlin Currywurst (1620 N Cahuenga Blvd., Los Angeles, 90028) and its German street food have expanded to Hollywood after being successful in Silver Lake. They have opened up in the former Huston’s Texas Pit Bar-B-Cue space.
They are selling a customizable sausage menu in Hollywood where you can chose from Bratwurst (pork) to Geflugelbratwurst (chicken) to Scharfe Kasawurst (beef with jalapeno & cheese). They even have Tofu-Bratwurst and Tofu-Kielbasa. From there you can heat it up from level 1 to level 4, add flavor (fruity, chipotle, jambalaya, garlic and ginger-orange) and add a side of fritten, um those are fries. Unlike the small Silver Lake hub, the Hollywood spot has an outdoor beer garden, fire pit, and a larger alcohol selection with 12 craft beers on tap and German wines.
