Los Angeles’ macrobiotic eatery, M Café, launched a new fall menu developed by consulting Chef Lee Gross, a pioneer in bringing contemporary macrobiotic cuisine to the forefront of the culinary industry. The shift of the season reflects a new menu at M Café that is designed to promote cleansing and detoxification, and highlight the fall season with a diet rich in hearty root vegetables, nuts, seeds and grains. The menu includes seasonal salads like Truffled Quinoa Salad; Roasted Beet & Walnut Salad; Broccoli Salad with Carrot-Ginger Dressing; and Raw Butternut, Fennel & Pomegranate Soups include a Curried Lentil Soup and Butternut Bisque. The new menu also features a selection of seasonal beverages featuring fall fruits and flavors including a Cranberry-Ginger Lemonade; Hot Apple Kukicha Toni; and a Blushing Beauty Fresh Juice made with red apples, beets, carrots and fresh mint.
M Café will also feature a special limited-edition menu item from the submissions during the 2ndAnnual M Café “Macrotize Me” Challenge. The winning dish, a Gluten-Free Grilled Vegetable Lasagna with Tofu-Pumpkinseed “Ricotta,” will be available until October 14, during the restaurants’ dinner service.
