The Famous, (154 S Brand Blvd., Glendale, 91204; 818.241.2888) is a low-key new bar with a long whiskey list. Although the bar is new, this building is from 1926, so the bar feels like it has been here forever. Follow the brick corridor all the way to the back, past the screen showing old movies and settle in by the piano.
