Clusi Batusi, (2047 Sawtelle Blvd., Los Angeles, 90025) is Sawtelle’s first customizable pizza spot and it’s opening this week. Clusi Batusi joins the ranks of other pizza restaurants with an incredibly hot oven that cooks up pies at 1200°F and in only 60 seconds. There are about 36 seats, inside and out and they make an effort to be as green as possible by using biodegradable serve ware.
So, customizable pizza you may ask. Select toppings and chef Michele Gargani puts it all together. Pretty straight forward and pretty delicious. Pizzas are between $7 -14, and they are serving lunch and dinner from 11:30 am-10 pm, Tuesday-Sunday.
