Trattoria Neapolis

Trattoria Neapolis, (336 S Lake Ave Pasadena, 91101) is joining Pasadena  with its soft open today. This new spot is influenced by California and Italy, with Neapolitan plates that are cooked in the 7,000 pound wood-fueled oven right behind the dining bar. They also have a custom wood burning grill, a smoker, a new red prosciutto slicer and a built-in salumi case. Both, bread and pasta are made in house in the “dough room,” which has a window in the dining room for you to check out the process.

Feast on dinner selections like Vongole (hand cut linguini, manila clams, pancetta, jalapeno, garlic white wine), Aragosta (bucatini pasta, Maine lobster, sweet 100 tomatoes, Calabrian chili, lobster sauce), Porchetta pizza (smoked pork shoulder, taleggio, caramelized onions, pancetta, cracklings, sage), Pollo pizza (smoked chicken, asiago cheese, fresh peach, pickled red onion, balsamic, basil) and Bistecca (wood grilled Wagyu flatiron steak, crispy Temecula honey onions, porcini bbq sauce).
