Industriel (609 S Grand Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90017) is an urban farm meets country French eatery that is in an old Carls Jr spot. They open tomorrow at 5 pm for dinner and lunch will be served Monday.
The two floor restaurant’ has a playful rustic with reclaimed wood, exposed ceilings, unfinished surfaces, metal embellishments and a gray/earthy brown tones. The menu has mostly seasonal produce with market vegetable plates, smoked octopus, crispy pig ears, red snapper (with millet soufflé, sea beans, black mussel fennel jus), duck (with wheat berry wild rice cake, pecans, currants, baby roots, hibiscus jus) and a 16-ounce organic rib eye (with Kennebec ‘poutine,” faux gras gravy, Roquefort and kale). Breakfast will be coming towards the end of June. Lunch served Monday-Friday from 11 am-4 pm and dinner is offered nightly from 4 to 11 pm.
