Altitude Pool Deck at the SLS Hotel, (465 S La Cienega Blvd., Los Angeles, 90048; 310.246.5552) is the leisurely rooftop hideaway that is now open to the general public for breakfast and lunch.
This secret rooftop has oversized potted plants, random mirrors and a pig in the pool. Don’t ask…it’s the SLS.
For breakfast, choose items like farmer’s market seasonal fruit with passion fruit dressing; Pastry Basket; eggs/omelets (add items: zucchini & squash blossoms, heirloom tomatoes, basil, wild mushrooms, bleu cheese, manchego cheese, goat cheese); panini bagel with smoked salmon, tomato and bocconcini basil salad and croissantini (pressed croissant sandwich) with eggs, chicken sausage, herb cream cheese.
Lunch items include Charcuterie (chef’s selection of dried cured meats, toasted rustic bread, fresh tomatoes & extra virgin olive oil); hummus, tzatziki and babaghanoush with pita chips; Watermelon and tomato skewers, fattoush salad with Persian cucumbers, heirloom tomatoes, radishes, green peppers, feta cheese; Iberico por pepito with caramelized onions and bleu cheese and grilled cheese with mozzarella, sharp cheddar and truffles.
