Los Angeles Brewing Company

Los Angeles Brewing Company, (750 S Broadway, Los Angeles, 90014; 213.622.0500) is ready for its debut at noon today (I saw them setting up yesterday). It’s a huge two-level spot that focuses on beer and more beer. It’s kind of like a beer palace. Plus with the new Los Angeles dog laws, they have a dog valet Drop Fido at the entrance, and the dog-sitter will keep all the doggies happy on patio while you make yourself happy with a pint.

Head inside to a gianormous entrance and grab a marble topped table (the marble was salvaged from the historic Bank of America building).

You can catch the game on one of eight huge projection screens and once you’re settled in, order up The Danger Dog (bacon, caramelized onions, diced tomatoes & scorched serranos), a braised bourbon BBQ pulled-pork sandwich and a beer. They’ve got beers from  everywhere flowing form their 100 taps and they’ve got about 30 more by the bottle. Food is kept simple, with sandwiches like The Monte Cristo, El Cubano and Their Brewery Burger. Entrees include Beef Ragout, Fish & Chips, Southern Fried Chicken and Steak. Keeping it simple, because it’s all about the beer.
