The Go Chew truck is launching February 18th and will be hitting the streets for the next 6 months. It’s a pop-up food truck serving organic rice bowls with choices of white or brown rice, braised pork shoulder, kimchi, egg, almonds, fried shallots, salt and pepper fried chicken, poached egg, curry pickled apple, brussel sprouts, smoked tofu, soy cured egg yolk, shitake mushrooms and spicy cucumber.
Or, order up a quick bite, ($4) like fried pork skin, tamales made of braised pork shoulder, (with kimchi, spicy masa with creme fraiche) and fried garlic, smoked tofu yoghurt (with fried lotus root, pea shoots, grilled cucumber, salmon eggs). And lastly, they have crispy rice cake ($6) , sweet and sour chili, cheese, egg (+ pork $2), pork pancake with roasted garlic aioli and roasted chicken with garlic, fingerling potato, smoked chili jam.
