Semi Sweet Bakery (105 E. 6th St., Los Angeles, 90014, 213.228.9975) opened on October 25 in the Santa Fe Lofts near 6th and Main. As of now, it’s open through Sunday from 8 am-3 pm (later hours to come). Expect savory sweet creations from these master minds behind Nickel Diner’s popular maple bacon donut. Along the same lines, they have Prosciutto Goat Cheese Danishes, Red Velvet Ding-a-Lings, Maple Glaze Bacon Sticky Buns, and Samoa Macarons. New Frontier provides coffee to wash down all your Ding-a-Lings (I had to go there).
