Rock & Reilly (8911 W. Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, 90069; 310.663.6017) is an exciting new Irish Rock Pub on the Sunset Strip. The location of this new bar is definitely one to talk about. In the late ’60s while it was the London Fog, the Doors were the house band. It later turned into Sneaky Pete’s and then Cat Club, the bar of Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats. This spot encompasses Rock & Roll and the feel of a classic Irish Pub. There is a 26-foot handcrafted oak bar with a dozen artisan beers and of course Guinness flowing from a copper tap tower. It can’t be called an Irish bar without Guinness (my fav). Besides beer, enjoy the curated collection of more than 40 Irish whiskeys, which are offered in flights for those who can’t pick just one.
Once you have the munchies from all the booze, grab lunch or dinner and watch any sporting event on their 14 antique framed flat screen TVs. Hit up this spot on 11.11.11 for complimentary Bloody Marys from 11:11 am-2:11 pm! Bagpiper start at 4:30 pm.
