Crybaby Presents (171 S La Brea Ave., Larchmont; 323.936.0334, ) comes from two RISD grads and its a curated, traveling concept shop selling hip, new finds. It’s a platform for artists and designers to exhibit and sell work in a continuously fresh and highly curated environment. Each season, the boutique will pop up in an empty storefront with an exhibition that brings art, design, and fashion under one roof. Holy Smoke, their first exhibition is opening today (through December 20).
At this first one, you’ll find original works and signed limited-edition prints by artists Leo Fitzpatrick, Adam Marnie, Glen Baldridge, and Kevin Zucker. There are also clothes by indie labels like, Samantha Pleet, Katie Gallagher, and Alexandra Cassaniti and furniture courtesy of The Haas Brothers and Sean Fabi & Maxim Jezek.
