The Raymond 1886 Presents Scotch & Cigars

Sip on the flavors of Scotland at The Raymond 1886 Scotch & Cigars, a limited ticketed event hosted by the one and only 1886 Head Barman, Cameron Masden. The Raymond 1886 opens its doors on the typically closed Monday to host a one of a kind evening dedicated to the good life, which includes learning about scotch, sipping a special 1886 Welcome Cocktail, Premier Scotch Tasting, Cigar Pairing, and a smorgasbord of Hors d’oeuvres prepared by The Raymond 1886’s Executive Chef Jon Hung! Head Barman Cameron Masden will kick the night off with a scotch inspired 1886 Welcome Cocktail, then, the Premier Scotch Tasting will officially begin with the Auchentoshan 12 year, and move onto Laphroaig Triple Wood, Bowmore Dorus Mor 10 year, Bowmore Darkest 15 year, Bowmore Darkest 15 year, and Auchentoshan 21 year. Should you fall in love with any of these premier liquid amber libations, bottles will be also available for purchase directly at this event. There is nothing more appropriately paired with scotch than a signature cigar, so indulge in two specially paired cigars provided by Fair Oaks Cigars and Garo Cigars. And, if this were not deluxe enough, The Raymond 1886’s Executive Chef Jon Hung will be offering a smorgasbord of imported charcuterie and imported and domestic cheeses, featuring all of the accoutrements like pickled fennel, spiced apple, assorted berries, mustard seeds, brioche and assorted house-made pickles, while also featuring tray passed hors d’oeuvres such as Smoked SalmonMousse, Pork Belly, Steak Skewers, and a Dark Chocolate Moon Pie for something sweet. $99; Monday, 6 – 10 pm; The Raymond 1886,1250 South Fair Oaks Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105; 626.441.3136
