Sassafras
Hollywood’s New Orleans-inspired bar is having a Mardi Gras soiree where they will introduce its new frozen slushy cocktails including a Watermelon Daiquiri with Bacardi and Chareau Aloe Liqueur; Irish Coffee with Jameson Black Barrel; and an Aviation Gin Singapore Sling. There will also be a “Street Gumbo Grass Band” and performances from burlesque dancers and Louisiana-derived brewery, Abita will start a week-long tap takeover. Barton G. LA is serving up a Voodoo Shrimp special that features sesame crusted crispy crab stuffed with jumbo gulf shrimp served over a smoking brew that is inspired by flavors of New Orleans. The dish arrives at your table in a tapered glass vase containing a small amount of dry ice to create a billowing fog. They are serving up a Po’ Boy Menu where you can pick from nearly twenty Po’ Boy options on the menu.
