The Rockefeller opens Friday! It’s a gastropub with two dozen craft beers and sixteen rotating wines. Of course being by the beach, they have an outdoor patio to enjoy your beverages on. Dinner is served seven days a week with lunch and brunch on weekends. Beer Belly
It seems bars are opening up with the “old timer-neighborhood feel” like they have been around for years, even though their doors just opened. Well this place is not that. They have a modern thing going on here, with a graffiti’d exterior and sharp, glossy wood-paneled ceiling. For food, they have a small food menu featuring brats, other wursts, and beet salads. More importantly, they have 12 rotating drafts, plus a list of bottles, with beers like The Bruery’s funky-tasting Mischief Gone Wild and Eagle Rock’s Populist IPA. 532 S Western Ave., Koreatown, 213.387.2337
