LA Beer Festival by Drink Eat Play
This Saturday, Culver City has 300 brews for 6 hours…get ready! In it’s 3rd year, the celebration is bigger than ever, sourcing from 80 international breweries. Local brewers include Ladyface Ales, Bierbitzch, and Inland Empire. More than a dozen food trucks will roll in to soak up the suds. Scarf down kabobs, bacon-wrapped kobe beef balls, crepes, and kosher cupcakes. While you drink and eat, enjoy the two cover bands too!  Tickets: $40 here for 1-4 pm, and here for 5-8 pm; Saturday, April 9, 12-3 pm and 5-8 pm; Sony Studios, 10202 W. Lucky Shops LA
The Lucky Shops LA have more sneak peeks of treasures you can expect this weekend. There are Kelsi Dagger Kassa shoes in silver, $64 (retail: $85); a Rebecca Taylor smock dress for $138 (retail $275); Steven Alan boyfriend shirt, $58 (retail $158) and Decades + Christian Louboutin boots in yellow are $395 ($1,400 retail).  There’ll be cocktails, nibbles, music, and giveaways all while you’re digging through the discounted goods. Friday, 12–6 pm, and Saturday, 10 am–5 pm.

This Sunday, April 10, CicLAvia returns to LA. You will bike or walk 7.5 miles of big city streets. All without any traffic! (Check out the map here.) CicLAvia’s biggest attraction is biking, leisurely and the burning kind. You’ll burn about 300 calories during the 20-60 minute ride from The Bicycle Kitchen on Heliotrope to Hollenbeck Park. For the non-cyclists, CicLAvia will also play host to yoga classes, dodgeball games, and many more side activities. Check out the events page for the latest details—then hit the street, car fume-free. 10 am-3 pm.
