Mendocino Farms Teams up with Cassia  Chef Bryant Ng on New Sandwich to Support The People Concern
The California-based restaurant that serves chef-inspired sandwiches and salads, has partnered with renowned Chef Bryant Ng of Santa Monica’s Cassia to add Cassia’s Lemongrass Chicken Sandwich with Chickpea Curry to its menu from March 12-25. 100% of profits from each sandwich sold will benefit the Los Angeles-based charitable organization, The People Concern, which helps improve the lives of those who are food insecure, homeless or victims of domestic violence. Inspired by Cassia’s Chickpea Curry served with clay oven-baked flatbread, the sandwich features shaved, roasted Mary’s free-range chicken, scallion and lemongrass relish, fresh herb salad and fontina cheese, served on rustic white bread. For added flavor and texture, Chef Bryant has added a layer of provolone on the outside of the bread and a side of chickpea coconut curry for dipping. In conjunction with the sandwich’s official debut, Chef Bryant will be joining kitchen staff at the Santa Monica Mendocino Farms location to create the charity offering and greet guests. Monday, 12 – 1:30 pm (sandwich available through March 25th); locations here.
