Brack Shop Tavern Celebrates the Olympics

It’s that special time again, when countries from all over the world submit their top athletes to compete in winter events and go for the gold. Whether it’s bobsledding, downhill skiing or my favorite, ice skating, the Olympics have been a loved spectator event…. pretty much since the beginning of time. What better way to sit back and cheer for your favorite athlete, then with an ice cold beer and yummy treats from DTLA’s Brack Shop Tavern.

Complete with craft beers and classic cocktails, this hip spot has a menu that has my mouth watering just thinking about it. Warm empanadas, wings and fried pickles are just a few of the delicacies you can munch on during the weekly Happy Hour. Through February 25, the chef has even incorporated meals from around the world to give the menu a little extra kick during the winter games. Twice baked potatoes from Russia, Jamaican Jerk Wings, Mexican Pork Mole Tacos and Nigerian Meat Pies are a few of the international treats you can sample while watching the competitors face off.

So what makes this bar different form others? Brack Shop Tavern has come up with the perfect way to bring out the inner athlete in all of us. The upstairs lounge has been converted into a game room – complete with your favorite board games, beer pong, Mario Kart, and shuffle board, in addition to $5 Olympic shooters!

No matter what country you are representing, Brack Shop Tavern is your go-to spot to relax after work for nappy hour, or to tune into the Olympics. Did I mention they also have brunch…?
