Join in this event that is sort of “live magazine” experience. The Pop-Up Magazine’s Winter Issue will be hitting the Ace Hotel for a night of stories, visual art, music, animation, photography, and even shadow theater. Sunset Yoga 1,000 Feet Up
Build strength, balance and flexibility with the city scape as your view during OUE Skyspace LA’s evening yoga series, Sunset Yoga, in partnership with Airbnb. The Roll of Attraction: An aphrodisiac sushi rolling class for couples
The RA Sushi restaurants in Los Angeles will be hosting a couple’s class called The Roll of Attraction: An aphrodisiac sushi rolling class for couples that brings sushi rolling basics and sex appeal together in a fun night of handmade food that is perfectly paired with sake varieties and JCB #69 Sparkling Rose. You will learn to create and savor a variety of sushi and cocktails, including the heart-shaped “Soy Crazy for You” Roll, which is wrapped in pink soy paper and features lobster and strawberries. Sawyer’s Producer’s Session
This Silver Lake spot is launching a vintner dinner series that will bring California’s top winemakers to the restaurant and allow them to pour wine flights at the tables while educating and getting the neighborhood more involved in local high quality wine. The “producer’s session” will take place the second Thursday of every month and includes flights of the vintner’s wine and discounted glasses and bottles of their wine. This month’s “producer’s session” will showcase Angeleno Wine Company and Koehnen Wine Company with vintners Jasper Dickson and John Koehnen. Both winemakers practice all natural wine making techniques and will be sharing information about their process and product. Wine flights will be available for $25/person and will include The Meadow Rosé, Koehnen Orange, Alonso Family Vineyard Tannat, and Koehnen Tempranillo Red. The guys behind Savage/Alchemy has teamed up with the wizards behind Boomtown Brewery to bring you a food and beer pairing.
