The Strawberry Festival takes place at the Village Green, between Euclid and Main Street in downtown Garden Grove. The MV Grab & Go Opens
The Mar Vista Executive Chefs D. Brandon Walker, Jill Davie, and Jorge Rivas opens their second concept, The MV Grab & Go, a counter-service café across the street from the sister property. Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. the new addition offers portable handmade items, many utilizing locally-sourced ingredients, and prepared in under 10 minutes. Menu items include the Wild Salmon Wrap with house made ricotta, mushrooms, and goat cheese-romesco; Torn Potato Poutine with Guajillo Pork; Chicken Sandwich with arugula, and carrots; and the Pork Shoulder Quesadilla. Manuela’s The Farmer and The Chef Event
As part of the Los Angeles Times Food Bowl, Manuela presents ‘The Farmer and The Chef Festival,’ a celebration championing the art of consciously-sourced cooking. Ten chefs and ten farmers will combine their culinary talents and seasonal produce to create flavorful, locally-grown dishes. Memorial Day Half-Marathon, Laguna Hills
This Memorial Day running event takes place in the beautiful Orange County cities of Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Woods, and Laguna Niguel.
