The Restaurant at Mr. C

Demitasse Roastery & Kitchen
Dad can celebrate Father’s Day with dishes like Sweet Potato Pancakes, served with yogurt spuma, dates and a strawberry maple syrup sauce; Tocino, cured pork belly topped with a coddled egg on chickpea hash; and a Angus Brisket Sandwich with caramelized onions, chimichirri, potato and chayote slaw on a cemita bun. Chef Ted Hopson, formerly of Father’s Office and Umami, certainly knows his way around a burger, which planted the seed for his Breakfast Burger available at the Studio City restaurant for Father’s Day only. They are offering a “Steak, Scotch, & a Sports Car” experience, with a 2005 Ford GT stationed outside of the restaurant. The “Steak, Scotch, & a Sports Car” offering nods to the Concours d’Elegance car show taking place on Father’s Day a few short blocks from the restaurant in Beverly Hills, and to the 84th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which takes place on the same day. This year’s race marks the 50th anniversary of the 1966 win, when the Ford GT 40 took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
