RENEW at Angel City Brewery
Earth Day is here and this year, instead of throwing away your spring cleaning duds, give them new life and purpose. Recycle what you have, reuse what you find and rediscover the cool of upcycled fashion. Join Angel City Brewery for RENEW, an Earth Day fashion show celebration to benefit St. Vincent de of Paul Los Angeles (SVdPLA). LA’s stylish bloggers will be curating fashion shows with looks right off the SVdPLA racks. Some super vintage, some super new – but all super cool new ways of looking at old things. The blogger fashionistas (and one fashionisto) do all of the work so guests can soak in the looks – and even buy upcycled outfits fresh off the runway – while sipping California Common, a malty amber lager with a hoppy backbone, or another one of the brewery’s popular beers, such as Angel City IPA and LAger, a delicate, lightly sweet honey lager with a citrus aroma. Local LA style icons and bloggers Natalie Joos and Tessa Neustadt, and fashion power couple Kristin Fedyk and Alberto Hernandez will be curating three separate shows. In-between each, be prepared to rock out to Gaea, Sara Santilli, and Pretty Polly Band, because it’s not a fashion show without some major music to set the mood. Angel City Brewery fans are encouraged to get their closets spring ready by bringing gently-loved clothing, shoes and accessories for donation to the brewery during the event. For those who bring five or more items to donate, they will receive a raffle ticket to win a gift basket full of goodies from Angel City Brewery, St. Vincent de Paul of Los Angeles and the Beer Bazaar vendors. Sunday; 216 S Alameda St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
