Pasadena’s Cheeseburger Week
Throw away your New Year’s resolution and celebrate Cheeseburger Week! The week commemorates how 16-year-old Lionel Sternberger first put cheese on the burger and served it to a customer at the Rite Spot, what used to be roadside stand along Colorado Blvd., in 1924. Expect up to 40 of Pasadena’s restaurants, lounges and burger joints to be offering their signature burgers, special creations and deals. Plus, you have the chance to vote for your favorite burgers in the Cheeseburger Challenge, with categories such as who makes the best lunch counter burger, the best veggie cheeseburger, or who serves the best beverage with a burger. Tar & Roses Reopens

International artist, musician and creative consultant Tomoyuki Iwanami (Tomo) has launched his first boutique and atelier T BY CONCEPT LAtest^tm in Marina Del Rey.
