ROKU
The newly opened teppanyaki concept in West Hollywood from Innovative Dining Group (IDG), rings in 2016 in style with an indulgent Prix Fixe Menu this New Year’s Eve. At Wally’s Beverly Hills, enjoy a four-course meal prepared by Executive Chef David Feau along with the musical stylings of DJ Alex Hegewald. Yard House
Each location will open all day and stay open until well past midnight to mark the arrival of a New Year with a Beer Toast at the start of 2016. You can order from Yard House’s menu, which features an array of appetizers, grilled burgers, gourmet salads, street tacos, prime steaks and seafood. Ivory
This new dining concept is debuting at Mondrian LA on NYE. Inspired by the creativity of Hollywood’s golden age and its timeless glamour, Ivory will celebrate the attitude that made Hollywood iconic. Designed by Built Inc. in collaboration with John Terzian of The h.wood Group and local Los Angeles-based design influencer, Brigette Romanek, Ivory’s space will have panoramic views of the city, soft, comfortable touches, a communal table, and a grand piano. The menu has been designed by The Taste alum Chef Brian Malarkey and will have plates like Veal and Pork Meatballs with caramelized onion and braised kale; Hamachi Crudo with Baja shrimp, habenero, serrano pepper, and lime; Pork Belly with maple mustard, deviled egg yolk and apple slaw; and White Seabass and Sonoma Brick Oven Duck. New Year’s Race
New Year’s Race is one of Los Angeles’ best night running races! You can kick off the New Year with a healthy start and participate in the Kids Fun Run as a family, or in the 5k, 10k or the Half Marathon. The Half Marathon is the only race that takes you through Dodger Stadium on the warning track, and once you make it up in to the hills of Elysian Park, you’ll earn spectacular views of the DTLA lights below. Listed as one of Runner’s World magazine’s best post-race parties, New Year’s Race is festive and fun for everyone in attendance. All runners are welcomed into the finish line with cheering crowds and sparkling lights, and once in the celebration zone you’ll be treated to great food vendor options, a courtesy, dancing and a DJ, as well as activities for both kids and adults. New in 2016 is the Doubleheader Challenge, which combines a 5k or 10k and the Half Marathon in the same night! The challenge is open to 1,000 runners, and finishers will earn three separate medals. New Year’s Race supports the Los Angeles-based non-profit, A Place Called Home, by donation matching.
