Barnsdall Art Park’s Croquet, Champagne + Oysters

Wheel House Cheese Shop Brings on the Booze!
What is wine without the cheese? Well, Culver City’s Wheel House is now serving up wine, beer and ciders to pair perfectly with its vast assortment of cheese, charcuterie and other treats. With an evolving assortment of cheese (more than 100 selections representing at least a dozen countries), plus 15-20 cured meats and charcuterie items, jams/spreads, crackers and pickles, Wheel House Cheese Shop has it all. Currently, Wheel House Cheese Shop’s new offerings include more than thirty Wines, over twenty Craft Beers and three Ciders, though they will continually rotate and grow this collection. They also have a new menu of made-to-order sandwiches like a Caprese, Salami & Brie, and a Ham & Swiss. There are also three special boards you can order to try out the shop’s special selection including the Cheese Board, a Meat Board with three charcuterie selections, pickles, mustard and baguette, or the Wheel House that combines both the cheese and the meat boards. Terrine Launches Weekly Market Tasting Menus
Executive Chef/Owner Kris Morningstar are now offering a seasonal market tasting menu. The six-course menu will change weekly as Chef Morningstar plays with the season’s flavors and ingredients. Wine Director and Managing Partner François Renaud will also hone his skills with optional pairing suggestions to complement each dish on every menu. Santa Monica will get a new “tasti” treat with the opening of Tasti D-Lite and Planet Smoothie®. Run Hard Rock Cafe 5/10K
To benefit My Friend’s Place, for a third consecutive year, this year’s race, will give runners the option of extending their run to a 10K race (register online here).
