Colorful festivals are held across Japan in early July and August. Owners, Angie Corrente and Stan Mayzalis along with Chef Kristina Miksyte are excited to bring their traditional cuisine and new dishes to a brand new space and neighborhood. A couple of new dishes include grilled shashlik, a form of Shish kebab popular in Eastern and Central Europe, using a variety of meats including lamb and chicken. For dessert, zeppoles (Italian fritters with ricotta cheese) will be served with house made chocolate sauce. Doma has also stepped up their coffee game in a major way, and serve up Red Bay Coffee. Red Bay Coffee is a quality-focused roaster of fine coffee, based in the Fruitvale district of Oakland, California which was founded in 2014 by Keba Konte. Doma will also be one of the very few places serving traditional Turkish coffee using a sand method technique. Owners Stan and Angie have always been highly involved within the community and will continue by giving back a portion of their sales for the first week to the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation, a community driven fund raising organization, which supplements state funding for programs that inspire learning, enrich teaching, and promote innovation and academic excellence in the public schools of Manhattan Beach. 3562 N.
