This mid-century styled steakhouse leaves the huge leather seating and dark lighting behind and replaces it it with bright wood chairs, red accents, white tile, a wooden ceiling, and retro lighting. As for food, Chef David LeFevre and Chef Daniel Waked are cooking up the beef. Expect USDA prime, bone-in, dry-aged and wet-aged as well as certified Angus. The Oinkster’s Burger Week
Starting today in both locations (Eagle Rock and Hollywood), you can get a new daily burger and earn swag. This year, each burger is inspired by television shows and movies, like The Klogger (Simpsons) made with a double-beef patty that’s loaded with bacon three ways and pork rind dust; The Krabby Patty (SpongeBob); The White Castle sliders (Harold and Kumar); and The Big Kahuna Burger with kalbi, Spam, and pineapple(Pulp Fiction). They have also included Highland Park Brewing for a one-off beer to be poured all week. They are all fired up for summer, with an all new Monday night menu, alongside an upcoming full summer menu (served TuesdaySaturday) with brand new seasonal dishes. The new menu replaces restaurant’s inaugural Monday Putxero special with an abbreviated version of their full menu favorites, and includes items like: Sauteed shishito peppers, garlic, mixed herbs, moixama; Fried potatoes, blood sausage, fried egg; Arctic char a la plantxa, eggplant puree, orange herb salad; Top Sirloin cap a la plantxa, xato, picadeta sauce; and Caramelized globe artichokes and romano beans, hazelnuts, garlic, spicy chili. Wine program director Stephen Gelber will also choose rare and unique selections to be served by the glass each Monday, via the Coravin system. Nest at WP24‘s Summer Menu
Providing Los Angeles with 24 ways to toast to the longer days of summer over views of the city, Nest at WP24 will offer a curated selection of summertime wines, handpicked for their refreshing characteristics.The “24 Sips of Summer” will offer an crisp, sunshine-pairing wines by the bottle from regions, including Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand and Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina, as well as Kamptal, Austria and Piedmont, Italy. Nest’s trained staff will also offer insight on wine pairings, as well as provide tasting notes. Alongside these distinct wine selections, Nest at WP24 will also offer a dedicated menu of Asian-inspired snacks, appetizers, sushi, and large plates with which to pair these seasonal specialties. Negroni Week
The popular “drink for your cause” event features a large list of participating bars and restaurants in the local Los Angeles area. Michael Arballo, L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is serving up the Oaxaca Negroni (*Proceeds go to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles) made with Sloane’s Gin, Campari, Carpano Antica, fresh grapefruit juice, Del Maguey Minero Mezcal, and garnished with a grilled grapefruit. Hakkasan Beverly Hills is also join in the celebration and will donate $1 per Smoky Negroni sold during the week to a local food-related charity of their choice. The Smoky Negroni reimagines the classic with a smoke infusion via woodchips soaked in Grand Marnier.

Los Angeles Prepares to Eat (RED) Drink (Red) Save Lives
Entering its second year, this event is back to raise money and awareness for the Global Fund to fight AIDS. In Los Angeles, establishments ranging from Son of a Bun to The Bazaar by Jose Andres are creating special (RED) dishes, drinks and tasting menus. Monday through June 30

National Iced Tea Month
To celebrate American Tea Room in Beverly Hills is giving away 300 bottles of their signature bottled iced tea to the first ten guests who purchase a bottle of iced tea each day throughout the month of June. CEO David Barenholtz sources all of his teas from around the world for every bottle of iced tea, and then blends each with seasonal ingredients to elevate the flavors and characteristics only found in American Tea Room teas. All of American Tea Room bottled iced teas are freshly handcrafted in small batches without preservatives.

Andaz West Hollywood‘s Photography Exhibit
Andaz West Hollywood will be hosting a photography exhibition showcasing the works of young artist James Marcus Haney. The gallery, titled “Stolen Access Granted” will be on display for the public to view through September as part of Andaz’s rotating art program, “Art Seen at Andaz,” and will display stunning works depicting intimate, candid shots of musicians and fans. The gallery will kick off with a special opening reception with passed appetizers, wine, and a live DJ set. The IMAGINE BALL
