Bar10 Opens
This casual new spot gets its name ten distinct cocktails, each one created by one of Bar10’s talented team of bartenders, and priced at $10. The expansive bar is set up to be spacious and comfortable, with high-top tables and a pool table. Some cocktails includes: Saladito made by Bartender Matt Richardson with El Silencio Mezcal, honey, lemon, and cayenne pepper; Basic Bitch made by Bartender Cody Goforth with Hanson’s Ginger Vodka, coconut water, blueberry, and simple syrup; The Bad Boy made by Bartender Frank Eady with Tullamore Dew Whiskey, Remy Martin, lemon, orange juice, and simple syrup; and M2 made by Bartender Sterling D. Crawl 4 Nepal is benefiting Global Giving
A 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal near the capital of Kathmandu. 24th Annual Santa Monica Festival
For the 24th year in a row, the City of Santa Monica presents the this festival that honors the City’s vibrant creative community and commitment to sustainability and wellbeing through a wide range of activities and performances, including an eclectic musical lineup, healthy culinary demonstrations, heart-pounding fitness activities, crafts, games, food trucks, and more. New this year, The Ocean Stage presents a dynamic all-female mariachi band; Angelou, combining the Zulu harmonies of Paul Simon’s Graceland and gritty delta blues; and QUITAPENAS, mixings tropical Afro-Latin sounds with California vibes. The Larchmont
Co-Owners Mathew Cape and Spoon Singh commemorate The Larchmont’s two-year milestone by opening the doors of its Craftsman-style bungalow for brunch. Executive Chef Kevin Kathman’s contemporary California menu will have touches of French influences alongside straight-from-the-farm vegetables from Spoon’s newly seeded Ojai ranch. Eat|See|Hear, Showtime Networks and Air New Zealand
