Hops and Hopes Craft Beer Fest
Beer Autism Hope, a non-profit raising awareness and support for autism, marrys the concepts of philanthropy and quality drinking by throwing a massive beer party inside of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The all-day event is more than just an excuse to drink well —proceeds are going to a worthwhile cause. Raise a Child’s HONORS Gala
In preparation of National Foster Month this May, the Raise a Child organization is aiming to educate and encourage the LGBT and heterosexual communities to build families through fostering or adoption to answer the needs of the 400,000 children in our nation’s foster care programs, many of those children being right here in Los Angeles. In support of these programs, and in anticipation of The Supreme Court’s Same-Sex Marriage oral arguments, Raise a Child will be holding their third annual HONORS Gala and award ceremony. SURFACE: Portraits of Street Artists
SUBLIMINAL PROJECTS is presenting SURFACE, an exhibition featuring portraits of street artists taken by Danish photographer, Søren Solkær. The images are part of a book project that began in 2012. For three years, Solkær traveled and photographed street artists in their element and showcasing them alongside their art in public spaces.
