I have been waiting for Salt (At the Marina del Rey Hotel, 13534 Bali Way, Marina del Rey, CA 90292; 424.289.8223) to open in Marina del Rey! It’s a new restaurant, right on the water, serving up lobster rolls, cucumber mojitos and fish & chips

Expect an upscale, beachy vibe with neutral tones, blue lighting, two out door patios, and an outdoor fire pit. For dinner, you can order Hamachi Sashimi including Japanese yellowtail, avocado, tea smoked plum Japanese citrus; Avocado Hummus; Braised Pork Meatballs; little gem Caesar; Grilled artichoke; Crab Louie Salad made from fresh Dungeness crab meat, avocado, tomato and farm egg on little gem lettuce; Prime Aged Beef Burger with Applewood smoked bacon, hooks cheddar, grilled onion, ripe tomato, crisp lettuce and thousand Island on a brioche bun; Zucchini Ravioli with mascarpone and basil, dehydrated orange and parmesan; Scottish Salmon on a potato emulsion, with grilled king oyster mushrooms and tarragon butter; and Prime Filet with
bordelaise sauce, roasted wild mushrooms, green asparagus and fingerling potatoes.
