Jeremy Fall’s (Genesis) second production, Golden Box, (6685 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA) takes over the former Writer’s Room and opens Friday. This a retro disco hints back to the 1980’s dance scene in Downtown New York City, with an industrial space, 5 golden disco balls, vintage issues of Interview Magazine strewn across the floor, a NYC elevator cage made into a DJ booth, and art installations on the wall.
Once it’s open, they will have a daily “starving artists” happy hour until 10:30 pm with $7 Ketel One, Famous Grouse, Don Julio, Jack Daniels, Bacardi or Beefeater and $5 beers.
Open Tuesday-Saturday, 9 pm-2 pm.
