Una Pizza Napoletana Owner Chef Anthony Mangieri Launches New Line of Frozen Pizza, Genio Della Pizza

Anthony Mangieri, owner/chef of New York’s celebrated Una Pizza Napoletana (named the Best Pizzeria in the World by Italy’s 50 Top Pizza organization last year), has launched a line of frozen pizza, Genio Della Pizza, which is available in SoCal now! He has been working on Genio Della Pizza for years, and it is finally ready for eyeballs and, more importantly, mouths! Let’s be clear, this is not meant to be a replica of what he is crafting at Una Pizza Napoletana. However, with Genio, Anthony has pushed the boundaries far beyond where frozen pizza has ever been able to go, a fact which was validated recently when the Margherita placed 1st in a blind taste test held by the food team at The New York Times! There are no fillers or artificial ingredients in these delicious pies. Each pizza is made with naturally fermented dough which is hand-stretched and topped with the freshest Italian ingredients before being baked in a woodfire oven in Italy, with the same exacting and maniacal commitment to quality that Anthony puts into the pies he pulls out of his oven at Una. Genio Della Pizza launches with four pizzas: Margherita, Marinara, The Bianca, and Broccoli Rabe all of which will be available nationwide via GenioDellaPizza.com (4-pack for $72.00, 8-pack for $128.00 which includes shipping) by 3/20, and are currently available at Fairway Markets, Brooklyn Fare, and Union Markets in New York. The Margherita and Bianca are also available in most Los Angeles zip codes NOW via Gopuff for $11.99 + shipping and fees
