Fifty Seven (712 S Santa Fe Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90021; 213.816.8157) is a blend of personalities, skill sets and backgrounds to cultivate a unique atmosphere in DTLA’s Arts District. To continue this, Fifty Seven is launching an ongoing Monday night dinner series titled, “One Night Only: A Dinner with…” which invites talent from chefs to artists, into the kitchen to collaborate with the Fifty Seven team to create a special menu for the evening. In addition to creating a “one night only” menu, the guest in the kitchen will also create the evening’s playlist as well as choose the wine that will be paired with the meal.
Kicking off the series will be Flynn McGarry with the final installment of his Eureka dinners on August 11. On August 18, Nyesha Arrington will step into the kitchen to execute a meaningful dinner titled “Maison Aisoon – Memories of Grandma’s House” and then on August 25, Jesse Barber will serve up his famous ramen along with several additional dishes that are a departure from what he offers at Barnyard.
