Tournament of Roses
The world-famous Rose Parade in Pasadena features marching bands, equestrian units and an amazing flower-decorated floats. The Rose Bowl has top college football teams go head to head at Rose Bowl Stadium. December 28–January 2 has float decorating, Bandfest, Equestfest, with Rose Parade on New Year’s Day at 8 am. Rose Bowl is also New Year’s Day at 2 pm. Free curbside viewing of parade on first-come, first-served basis; grandstand seats $50–90 on sharpseating.com. Rose Bowl tickets start at $150 plus fees. The Murder at the Getty Scavenger Hunt
