Hollywood’s L’Scorpion, was one of the first bars I was introduced to when I moved to Los Angeles. They still have one of the best margaritas in the city. They have now expanded west with L’Scorpion West (8512 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, 90069). This location has a club/lounge vibe with alfresco seating, where you can order up appetizers including Mango Guacamole, Jalapeno Crabcakes, Cocoa Lobster Crepes, L’Scorpion Ceviche, Spiced Rock Shrimp, Masa Crusted Oysters, Scorpion Sweet & Spicy Wings, and Spanish Flatbread. Crudo plates include Jalapeno Yellowtail, Atlantic Salmon Crudo, Charred Pepper Ahi, Chile Sweet Shrimp Tartare, and Cilantro Divers Scallops. Salads include Chilled Asparagus Cesar, Avocado Tomato Salad, Kale Avocado Salad, and Stuffed Chiles with Quinoa.
