Everyone needs a lil getaway and we are lucky to live in one of the most beautiful places in the US. So get in your car and head north to Santa Barbara! Here are some spots to but on your list to check out:

Santa Barbara Farmers Market
These days everyone loves fresh foods straight from the source. The Santa Barbara Farmers Markets has tons of produce every Tuesday and Saturday. Tecolote Book Shop
Living in the beautiful community of Montecito, this one-of-a-kind bookstore has been around for over 80 years. The inside  is beautiful with carpets and full bookshelves. And the outside is where you can enjoy the amazing surroundings. 1470 East Valley Rd.; 805.969.4977

Lewis and Clark
Need a Santa Barbara souvenir? This place has cute, unique items you won’t find anywhere else on State Street. From vintage opera glasses to domino sets, this charming shop is perfect for a treasure to bring home. 1116 State St.; 805.962.6034

The Wine Cask Restaurant
This is a Santa Barbara dining staple. With its romantic vibe, it’s upscale, but still cozy. It has a wine selection with a lot of varieties. Lil hint. Get the mushroom risotto. 819 Anacapa St.; 805.966.9463

Santa Barbara Museum of Art
While in Santa Barbara, get some culture! This tiny museum will teach you the history of the city. 1130 State St.; 805.963.4364

Julienne Restaurant
This spot does “farm to table”, and gets their produce from surrounding farms. Your meal will be entirely self-sustained. Plus, the surroundings aren’t too shabby either. During dinner take in that beautiful Santa Barbara sunset. 138 East Cannon Perdido; 805.845.6488

Lily Living

Old Mission Santa Barbara

Pali

Municipal Winemakers
Hipsters, this spot is for you! The chatty, tattooed staff will serve you beverages from the vintage filing cabinets behind the bar. Try the Bright Red, a blend of of Grenache, Cinsault, Counoise, and Syrah. 22 Anacapa St.; 805.931.6864

Deep Sea Tasting Room
For your final stop, head out to this upstairs tasting room located at the end of Stearns Wharf. Enjoy a few glasses as the sun goes down and the mountains behind you turn pink. 217 Stearns Wharf ; 805.618.1185
