The Rusty Monk

The Rusty Monk (6749 Greenleaf Ave., Whittier, 90601) has been opened since early August and is serving draft beers, European wines (curated by Shauna Bryan and Michael Tacconi) and seasonal food from chef Merrisa Nava (Nick & Stef’s).

The pub comes by way of Kyle Koestner, (FENIX 5-4) and has a menu of schnitzel, chicken pot pie, fresh fish, fish & frites, house-made sausages, moules frites, house-made Bavarian pretzels, and a meat-and-cheese platter.

Open Tuesday-Saturday, 4:45 pm-12 am, and Sunday from 2-9 pm.
