Restaurateur Michael Cardenas previously had a test run of his Spanish menu at Lazy Ox Canteen. Now, his neighborhood tapas, paella and cocktail joint, Taberna Arros y Vi (1403 2nd St, Santa Monica, CA 90401) is opening tomorrow for dinner from 5 to 11 pm. The kitchen is manned by chef Verite Mazzola (Palomino, Ford’s Filling Station) who will source ingredients from local markets. And, soon you’ll be able to grab lunch in July.
