Echo Park dive, Little Joy, (1477 West Sunset Blvd., Echo Park) has been revamped! Opening today, the new space has art deco light fixtures, an oak bar, concrete floors, a DJ booth, and even a reupholstered pool table.
New owners Joaquin Reyna-Donaldson (The Echo) and Don Andes pay homage to the 100-year-old building’s past lives with special garage doors recall its time as a body shop and vintage beaker vases that nod to a time it was a pharmacy.
A rotating tap of curated local brews, wines, and classic cocktails have replaced the $3 well drinks menu.
