Chef Jordan Kahn set out to create a high-end version of Chinatown nights where he would grab noodles and Vietnamese dishes after a night shift. Red Medicine has one of the best late-night ambiances around. Some favs include the massive pork belly banh mi, chicken dumplings, coconut bavarois, and Brussels sprouts. Mountain Cafe

Ikemen

Honda Ya

Alibi Room

Izakaya Sasaya

Ruen Pair Thai Restaurant
This Thai Town favorite serves up tasty dishes at reasonable prices. Try try stewed pork leg; turnip omelet; crispy pork belly with morning glory or broccoli; green papaya salad with raw crab; and stir-fried chicken dishes. Canter’s Deli

Krua Siri

Myung Dong Kyoja (명동교자)
The garlic from this place takes over the entire block in Koreatown’s stretch of Wilshire Blvd. Head over after long hours at the local karaoke rooms or Korean bars. Freddy Smalls
Charlie Parker is behind this Westside, gastropub-like restaurant. Pacific Dining Car-Santa Monica
One of two all-night restaurants, Pacific Dining Car is the elegant night owl’s landing spot. With white tablecloths and a menu from the 50’s, this place is all its own. The Original Pantry Cafe

Jones Hollywood

The 101 Coffee Shop
The retro-cool vibe at this Hollywood favorite might have the best late night diner food in the city. The ingredients are thoughtfully chosen and the menu looks surprisingly small for a restaurant of this type. Johnnie’s Pastrami

Bossa Nova
Brazilian classics like picanha, chicken stroganoff, pao de quiejo, and more fill up the large menu at this West LA and Hollywood mini-chain. They are serving up until 3 am. Sausages and beer. They go hand in hand. Pick desired sausages, get them grilled up, top with caramelized onions, mustard, and peppers, place in bread roll. Wurstkuche serves late most nights. Nak Won Restaurant

There are plenty of all-you-can-eat Korean barbecues in Koreatown, but only a few of them are open late. Don Day is one of the better choices for late night with a large selection for under $20/person. The Pikey
This Hollywood gastropub serves a hefty menu up until 1:30 am, with favorites like Welsh Rarebit, Crispy Pig Ear Salad, and Fish & Chips. There’s a decent cocktail menu put together by barman Damian Windsor too. This revamped old diner in Echo Park has the hipster vibe in full swing. Grab Stumptown coffee, all-day breakfast eats, and vegan options. The Gorbals
Top Chef winner Ilan Hall serves inside the Alexandra building in Downtown’s Historic Core until 1:30 am, making it one of the best late-night spots in Downtown.
