Post & Beam Hospitality Group, made up of restaurateur Brad Johnson, Director of Operations David Borrego, and Executive Chef Govind Armstrong, is pleased to announce Willie Jane, a new restaurant opening mid-March at 1031 Abbott Kinney Boulevard. The restaurant is named for Johnson’s 100 year-old Georgia-born aunt, and will offer Chef Armstrong’s take on Southern American cuisine with an emphasis on low country coastal dishes and a selection of family-style plates.
Bar Manager Phuong Tran is creating a beverage program that will focus on a specialty collection of bourbon and a cocktail menu that includes seasonal libations and Southern classics.
Willie Jane is currently undergoing a redesign by Venice-based designer and Kentucky-native Rae Scarton. The team is excited to embark on this new adventure with the Venice Beach and Abbott Kinney communities, bringing their guests, as Willie Jane always says, “another day of sunshine.”
