Hot ‘N’ Juicy Crawfish, (7100 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, 90046) is a string of seafood restaurants originally from Vegas, opened on Saturday in the spot where Pomodoro lived on Santa Monica Boulevard at La Brea. This is one of those down and dirty, plastic on tables restaurants that you get a bib and your seafood is in a plastic bag customized with your choice of spice and seasoning. There’s oysters, pounds of crawfish, king crab legs in a thick liquid mix with your-choice spices and heat, including Lemon Pepper and “Juicy Cajun”, lobster, clams and shrimp, a handful of fried seafood like cornmeal-crusted catfish, and beer and wine to drink.
