Kitchen 24 (8571 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles) is opening up in WeHo on Monday. The mod diner first came to Hollywood back in 2008 serving California American fare that was available all day every day. This location is double the size of the one on Cahuenga and has a big patio and a coffee bar serving up Commissary’s Tyler King.
The large menu includes everything you can think of. Chow down on croissant French toast, disco fries, Fat Elvis bacon cupcakes, vegetarian chili, burgers, meatloaf, build your own smack and cheese and wash it all down with boozy milkshakes.
Kitchen 24 also has 37 beers like Hawaiian Coconut Porter, Mama’s Little Yellow Pills from Colorado. Drinks don’t stop there. Cocktail wise, try the Meg Ryan special, I’ll Have What She’s Having (42 Passion Vodka, amaretto, pineapple juice, and coconut milk) or go for the Ooooh Girl (Cake vodka, pineapple juice, strawberry puree, and whipped cream).
