$0 Dish

Cafe Gratitude, that vegan eatery I blogged about opening on Larchmont, has an I Am Grateful bowl (shredded kale, quinoa, black beans and garlic-tahini sauce). And  it costs $0. It’s a “community-supported grain bowl” and has a suggested value of $7 but it’s suggested, so you can come in and pay nothing, something, or more than the suggested $7. Those extra dollars go to someone who can’t afford to pay. Pay it forward people, pay it forward.
